Kingsford Homestead is situated on the western edge of the Barossa Valley, near Gawler and accommodates up to 14 guests. Surrounded by 225 acres of stunning South Australian countryside the property was purchased by the Ahrens family in 2009 and carefully converted into a five-star retreat.
The television show McLeod’s Daughters was filmed on location, the property was closed off from the public for seven years of production. The property was run like a working farm for the purposes of filming, complete with 100 cattle, 250 sheep, 15 horses, working dogs and a team of stockmen.
